economic development of African/Caribbean Canadian youth and young
adults. We aspire to encourage individuals to maximize their potential
and prepare for future challenges, while educating them to become socially
and culturally responsible Canadians.

Education and Cultural Committee
The Education and Cultural Committee provides educational and cultural
programs/activities for the Association’s members and the wider
community. It is also responsible for promoting educational/cultural
exchanges, seminars, exhibitions, debates, and for the acquisition
and distribution of culturally educational books and other materials
related to the heritage of members through the Marcus Garvey Resource
Center.

Women’s Committee
The Women’s Committee of the Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA)
works to advance women’s full participation and equality in all
aspects of the JCA and the wider community, including decision-making
and leadership roles.

Fundraising Committee

JCA offer. We invite you to learn more about us.

overall responsibility for supervising the maintenance and operation
of the building and contents acquired for the use of the Association.
